It was disqualified from the Slamdance Competition, which forced the creators of Castle Crashers, Braid, flOw, Everyday Shooter and others to pull their game rejecting the notion that any game could be denied on the basis of the message not appealing.

Gameplay

There are two basic parts of the game: the first part, where the player places bombs in the school and fight students, and the second part, after the protagonists' suicide, where the player wanders around hell fighting demons. The second part is much harder, and considered less interesting by many players, such as Increpare.

• The game is based off the tragedy off of the Columbine shooting with the actual shooters Eric Harris and Dylan being portrayed as the main protagonists. Rebel and Green Vodka (Ve)
• A documentary about the controversy surrounding the game has been made by the game's developer (an amateur filmmaker), called Playing Columbine.
• In the Columbine school, you can find a book by Nietzsche in a secretly hidden place. You later can get a reward for obtaining that book in hell.
• The designs of the minor characters in the game that Reb and Ve shot up looks similar. For instance, the jocks appearing the generic along with some of the geeky students, and the popular girls. (This part might be on Ledonne's part with the story development)
• Plenty of flashbacks, foreshadowing, or monologues and speeches reference Reb and Ve's past with what supposedly led them to the planned out shooting. (With their moments of being allegedly bullied, allegedly humiliated, allegedly ignored by their friends, etc.)
• In Hell, Video game characters from games like Mario, Megaman Pikachu, etc.
• A final boss which is a South Park portrayal of Satan will be found after fighting all the monstrous demons.
• After fighting Satan, Satan will congratulate you for your deeds with defeating him in the battle.
• After fighting Satan from hell, the game switches back to the School with the citizens mourning over the deaths of the students in the school, later on after the tragedy.
• The end of the game, during the press conference. This may be referencing the issue of gun control with the other shootings that have been happening later on. (Either this may be referencing the future/recent shootings or they were just talking about their Columbine Shooting back then.)
